Hell's Dreamer

20 seconds of insane courage.

Today I watched a movie and the guy in it said that if we just allow ourselves to have 20 seconds of courage, it could go a long way. Right now, instead of stupid YOLO, 20 seconds of courage is my new motto. Honestly, when I look back on some of the things I’ve done, I seem like a total lunatic, but I know that those things all started with courage. Recently, I auditioned for this Glee based play in my school and we had to sing a song. At first I was contemplating if I should because I auditioned for a play before and the teacher looked so disappointed in me, so I guess I was kind of traumatized about that past audition, but because of courage I did the recent audition anyway. I GOT IN! Sometimes fear can knock us down, but having courage, even only for 20 seconds, it surely could go a long way. So have 20 seconds of courage and see where it gets you. Take risks even if it means hurting because as they say; ‘No pain No game’.

Ugh High School.

Honestly, when I walked into that door for freshman high school orientation, I didn’t know that things would change. People always say high school years are the best, but worst years of a person’s life and after one year, I honestly can’t wait for another. Another year of drama, stress on homework and tests, tears for undeserving people, figuring yourself out, and days of endless sleep. But also another year with your friends, discovering new adventures, new opportunities, and most importantly, another year of mysteries. Mysteries are always expressed in a horrific way, but why not in kind of positive way? Maybe right now you feel like you’re never going to be anything, but because of the mystery called Life, you might surprise yourself. I guess what I’m saying is that high school can be full of total bullshit, but it can also be rewarding. High school is where you might find the love of your life, where you meet lifetime friends, where you discover who the hell you really are and what you can do, where you find your passion and possibly career, but most importantly, high school is where you find yourself. Sure finding yourself meaning you’ve matured, but it doesn’t always mean that. I guess everyone matures, but it’s in what way they mature. I guess to put it simply; high school is a once in a lifetime impact that can mold or destroy you.
